In Agent Linnell’s class, Team Anti-Racism has plans to become the “complimenting creatures” and find moments to give compliments to people around the school.

Some of Berkman Elementary’s new agents formed an anti-racism committee on their campus, had their first meeting open to the school campus, and presented their idea for an anti-racism mural to their principal!

In Agent Bryant’s class the Animal Abuse team plans on researching where to volunteer and to donate money to help abused animals.
The Homelessness team is making plans to gather supplies to help the homeless and research where to volunteer.
In Agent Peavy’s class, Team Uniforms is taking surveys from students about whether or not they would want uniforms. The team plans to present the survey to the Principal.
Agent Austrum’s groups were inspired to chose new problems: 1) stray animals/ animals in pounds 2) gun control 3) electoral college. Agents have been researching and making Google docs in order to continue communicating without having to physically meet.
Agent Deatley’a groups were also inspired to chose new problems: 1) Hunger/mental illness within the homeless population 2) stray animals and animal testing. The agents have been involved in lots of research, Google doc making, and plans for bake sales and raising awareness.

In Agent Austrum’s class, a team focused on Pollution/Global Warming wants to research organizations to donate to, and write articles for their newspaper about how to make picking up trash cool. A team focused on Animal Abuse plans to create a task force wherein the students find dog fighting rings through the Internet and ask adults to report them to the authorities. They’d also like to research what kind of information is provided to pet owners upon adopting a pet so that the education can be supplemented as needed.
In Agent DeAtley’s class, Team Women’s Rights plans to encourage women and girls they know to follow their dreams, whether it be trying out for a sports team, pursuing sciences, or anything! They also plan to listen to the women around them to support the notion that women are trustworthy, regardless of circumstance AND turn the phrase “like a girl” on its head by using it as a compliment or asking people to explain what they mean if they hear it used as an insult. Team Anti- Terrorism want to do more research and meet at lunch to share findings and write letters.

In Agent Bui’s class, the “animal endangerment/extinction team” has a plan to encourage lawmakers to protect animals, and to make posters to raise awareness of how to properly treat animals.The “more recess team” plans to ask the Principal if they can have a fundraiser to get a cover over the playground so they can play outside in inclement weather. They also plan to start a “good behavior challenge” to support and encourage kids who miss recess to earn it back.
In Agent Davis’ class, the “homelessness team” plans to have a fundraiser to raise money to donate to an organization that helps the homeless. They already made posters to raise awareness. The “anti-racism team” plans to stand up for someone when they see racism in action. They also already made posters, encouraging kind treatment of all people, and not judging a person without getting to know them.

In Agent Paz’s class:
One team plans to focus on tackling pollution by organizing regular clean-ups! They also plan to contact and encourage local government to push earth friendly initiatives.
Another team wants to plan a fundraiser for the Manor Hospital! They plan to do research on volunteering there, and want to make get well soon cards for the patients there.
In Clark’s class:
One team wants to spread information and awareness about how to properly care for animals. They also plan to make posters promoting animal adoption. Another team plans to make posters that remind kids that clowns can be good. They’d like to raise awareness about the issues surrounding clown terrorism and remind kids that they don’t need to fear all clowns.

Welcome, Agents of Shadow Glen Elementary!
In Agent Lewis’ class, team anti-racism has decided to have more conversations about race and do ongoing research on inspiring celebrities who use their voice to fight racism. Team anti-sexism has plans to make posters to raise awareness, and to “be the change,” inspiring people to not judge others based on their gender.
In Agent Nobles’ class, one group of agents wants to tackle the issue of violence by promoting peace through a team called the Freedom Fighters. They also plan to organize a clothing swap in order to share styles and eliminate jealousy. Another group of agents made posters (below) to share positive views about differences. They plan to make an announcement to their school about what to do in the face of racism.
